Two people in conversation across a café table

Understand what is happening, and what you want.

Relationship guidance at Mindful Direction is a private, 45-minute conversation with a practitioner who helps you understand what is happening in a relationship and think through your next steps. The relationship might be with a partner, a spouse, a family member or someone you are getting to know.

Non-clinical by design

This is guidance, not therapy or counselling. We do not diagnose or provide treatment, and we never promise a particular outcome.

Matched to your concern

Tell us what you would like to talk about when you book, and we match you with a practitioner whose experience fits your situation.

At your own pace

You decide what to share and what to do next. One session may be enough, or you can book again whenever you are ready.

Common relationship challenges

Every relationship is different. These are some of the areas people bring to a session.

Communication and understanding

Conversations that turn into arguments, feeling unheard, or not knowing how to say what you need. Explore the patterns and practise clearer, calmer ways to talk.

Marriage and pre-marital concerns

Questions before marriage, adjusting after it, expectations and roles, and the pressure that can come from family and society.

Trust and boundaries

Rebuilding trust after it has been shaken, setting limits that feel fair, and understanding what you need to feel respected.

Conflict resolution

Recurring disagreements about money, time, family or priorities. Look at what sits underneath them and how you might approach them differently.

Family and relationship dynamics

Parents, in-laws, siblings and extended family. Balancing loyalty, independence and your own wellbeing within family expectations.

Separation and relationship changes

Thinking about separation, coping after a break-up or divorce, or adjusting to a relationship that has changed. Guidance can help you think clearly; it does not replace legal advice.

Our approach

  • We listen without judgement and take your situation seriously.
  • We help you see patterns and other perspectives, including your own needs.
  • We explore practical options and small steps you can try.
  • We respect your values, culture and the decisions you make.
  • We stay within non-clinical guidance and suggest other qualified help, such as clinical, medical or legal support, when it is needed.

Who may benefit

  • Adults (18+) facing communication difficulties with a partner or spouse.
  • People preparing for marriage, or adjusting to married life.
  • Anyone navigating tension with parents, in-laws or wider family.
  • People going through separation, a break-up or a change in a relationship.
  • Adults in Pakistan or abroad who want a private, online space to talk.

Mindful Direction is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, such as Rescue 1122 in Pakistan, or the emergency services where you live.

What to expect in a session

2

Getting started

Your practitioner asks what brings you to the session and what you would like to take away from it.

3

Talking it through

You explore the situation together: what is happening, how it affects you and what matters most to you.

4

Next steps

You leave with a clearer view and ideas you can try. What you decide to do next is always your choice.

No. Mindful Direction provides non-clinical guidance and supportive conversations. It is not therapy or counselling, and we do not diagnose or treat. If you need clinical support, please speak to a qualified mental health professional.

No one can make that decision for you. A practitioner can help you think through your situation, your options and what matters to you, so you can decide with more clarity.
